Salary: £35,845 to £41,526
Hours: 37 hours per week
About the role:
You will work with colleagues across the HR & OD Directorate and beyond as well as external partners to develop and drive the University’s approach to Apprenticeships as an employer. You will develop structures and operating arrangements which place Apprenticeships at the heart of our approach to workforce development and strategic workforce planning and build relationships across the University and beyond to identify opportunities and make them happen.
As our ideal candidate, you will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to organise and prioritise a busy workload. You will also have excellent partnership working skills with the ability to build credible relationships with managers at all levels to bring about business improvements and work in a collaborative way. Tolerance, patience and common sense are essential qualities.
You will have an in depth knowledge of apprenticeships and associated legislation and the role of apprenticeships in supporting organisational resourcing, succession and development needs. Experience of implementing a manager and employee apprentice scheme and strategy would be of benefit.
