Are you an asset management professional looking to further develop your expertise in data and data systems?
Transport for Greater Manchester has an exciting opportunity for you to lead on the design, functionality and embedment of an Asset Management Information System. Within TfGM, a key component of our mission to make travel easier for everyone.
You will be acting as a key interface between operational, technical and strategic areas of the organisation. You will be responsible for delivering the objectives within the Asset Information Strategy, such as a managed suite of business processes and workflows for the system.
You will provide governance and stewardship of the Asset Management Information System and have a demonstrable understanding of all stages of an asset lifecycle.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, you’ll have working knowledge of international and industry standards related to asset and information management, namely ISO 55001. You’ll have technical expertise in Asset Management Information Systems and their application and interaction including Enterprise Asset Management, GIS, and BIM tools, along with proven experience of managing data and translating this into information that drives performance.
Whilst technically strong, you will also be able to communicate effectively and influence a variety of audiences, using your excellent stakeholder engagement skills. You’ll be proactive and passionate about implementing improvements to contribute to the bigger picture.
The salary range for this role is £40,555 to £45,646. Salary on appointment will be dependent upon your skills and experience.
