FCHO has significantly increased its development programme of new build homes and is looking to recruit a Clerk of Works to join the Development Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team, help develop and implement procedures and work with the team in delivering high quality new homes to meet the housing need in Oldham and surrounding areas.

As a key part of the Development Team the role is to provide Clerk of Works services at First Choice Homes Oldham dealing with the construction of new build properties delivering a key strategic aim of the organisation.

The main purpose of the post is to work with the Development Team in feeding into the specification and design development then once on site to monitor and inspect construction work, record progress, carry out handover procedures, and ensure compliance with contract documents, construction regulations and best practice.

The successful applicant will ordinarily start at the bottom of the pay scale unless they can demonstrate with payslips they are currently earning a higher salary, in which case they will start at the higher in the pay scale. The top of the grade is the maximum that will be paid for the post.
