Location – Oldham

Hours/Contract – Full-Time

Salary – £22,000 – £26,000 per year

We are an independent Oldham based training organisation providing Health & Safety, Engineering and Installations training programmes. We are passionate about providing solid and robust training predominately to the Health & Safety, Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance Engineering, Fabrication and Welding, Retail and Business Service sectors. Currently going through planned growth and now looking for a Commercial Training & Sales Coordinator to help support the growth of the business. We are now looking for a highly organised person who can bring their positive attitude to our company and be responsible for the smooth running of our commercial course operations. You will have proven sales and marketing experience to ensure our clients experience is the best.

Your duties will include:
• Maintain and support the growth of our commercial course portfolio both on and off-site.
• Working to and exceeding company set KPI targets.
• Generating quotes according to client’s needs (contract and non contract).
• Allocating instructors and supporting pre and post course paperwork.
• Liaise with awarding organisations for quality assurance of accredited programmes.
• Liaise and support internal colleagues to support the smooth day to day operations of the overall business.
• Liaising with clients, employers; generating leads, up and cross selling. Phone, email, in person employer meetings.
• Act as a mentor for a division apprentice.
• Booking of training rooms for course delivery.
• Support the Health & Safety of the business and training centre.
• Communicating regularly with instructors regarding their allocated work and issuing weekly work schedules.
• Handling email and telephone enquiries to ensure clients receive a prompt and professional response as part of the customer care team.
• Support the marketing strategy of OTC’s.
• Attend relevant local and regional networking events.
• Maintaining the rolling annual commercial course training calendar.
• Participate in business operational and departmental meetings as requested, predominately commercial training and marketing.
• Any other business deemed necessary and appropriate.

Do you have these skills?
• Experience in of working in a fast paced, customer facing environment.
• Experience of delivering first class customer service.
• Experience of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Experience of working with Microsoft packages (predominantly Outlook, Word and Excel)
• Working flexibly as a team.
• Working to timelines/deadlines.
• A knowledge of Health & Safety would be highly desirable but not essential.
• Passion, and a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Able to work autonomously.
• Organised and methodical.
• Effective, professional communication skills.
• Good time keeping.
• Attention to detail.
• Promote a professional image at all times by acting in a courteous manner
• Actively participate in own performance reviews
